Afcons Infrastructure Limited has announced that its Managing Director, Mr. S Paramasivan, has officially assumed the role of Chairman of the Project Export Promotion Council (PEPC) effective March 24, 2025. The announcement was made through a regulatory filing on March 25.

Mr. Paramasivan takes over this significant leadership position after serving as the Vice-Chairman of PEPC from 2023 to 2025. The new Vice Chairman will be Mr. A R Soni, Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs at L&T.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Paramasivan said, “I am honoured and excited to take on the responsibility of PEPC Chairman. This is a significant opportunity to contribute towards the growth of Indian project exports. I look forward to working closely with all stakeholders to strengthen our position in global markets.”

Established in 1984 under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, PEPC functions as the apex body to promote Indian project exports globally. It facilitates Indian EPC contractors and consultants with technical guidance, export promotion initiatives, and execution support for overseas projects.
