
Aerpace Industries has announced an important milestone in the development of the aerWing project, which is key to their aim of changing aerial transportation.
The company informed exchanges that they have collaborated with Cavok Engineering, a leading company with extensive expertise in UAV and UAM technologies, to boost the development of its large-size drone, capable of carrying a payload of 1.5 tons.
In the exchange filing, the company also shared, “The collaboration focuses on the design, analysis, and technical development of our aerWing, a drone intended to revolutionize cargo transport with a payload capacity of 1.5 tons. Cavok Engineering will leverage its vast experience, having worked on 14 UAM & UAV homologation/certification projects and 8 manned aircraft homologation projects. This experience will guide the aerWing through crucial technical milestones.”
