Advait Energy Transitions Ltd has emerged as the L1, or lowest bidder, for a 150 MW / 300 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Gujarat, marking a significant step in its energy storage expansion strategy.

The company received bid confirmation for the L1 stage under the tender for setting up 335 MW / 670 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems in Gujarat. The project has been awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding with Viability Gap Funding support from the Power System Development Fund (PSDF) Phase-VIII.

The tender has been floated by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), and the bid confirmation was received on February 11, 2026.
