Adani Ports & SEZ (APSEZ) has signed a concession agreement with the Deendayal Port Authority to develop a new berth at Gujarat’s Kandla Port. The berth, identified as Berth No. 13, will span 300 meters and have the capacity to handle 5.7 MMT of multipurpose clean cargo annually.
This project is expected to be operational by the financial year 2027. The addition of this berth will further strengthen APSEZ’s presence on the western coast and expand its cargo handling capabilities.
As of 2:55 PM, shares of Adani Ports were trading 1.77% lower at ₹1,427.70.
