Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) reported a robust operational performance for October 2025, with steady growth across key business segments. The company handled a total cargo volume of 40.2 million metric tonnes (MMT) during the month, marking a 6% year-on-year (YoY) increase, primarily supported by a strong rise in container volumes.

According to APSEZ, container volumes surged 24% YoY in October, making it the biggest growth driver for the month.

For the year-to-date (YTD) period ending October 2025, the company’s total port cargo volumes stood at 284.4 MMT, reflecting a 10% YoY growth, once again led by a 21% rise in container volumes.

In the logistics segment, rail volumes in October stood at 60,387 TEUs, registering a 16% YoY increase, while the GPWIS (Gangavaram Port Wagon Infrastructure System) volume came in at 1.7 MMT, down 6% YoY.

On a YTD basis, logistics rail volumes reached 418,793 TEUs, up 15% YoY, whereas GPWIS volumes totaled 12.7 MMT, showing a marginal 1% growth compared to the previous year.
