Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported a strong operational performance for August 2025, handling 41.9 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, up 16% year-on-year.
The growth was led by container volumes, which rose 29% YoY during the month.
Year-to-date performance
For the April–August 2025 period, APSEZ handled 202.6 MMT of total cargo, reflecting an 11% YoY increase, again driven by strong container growth of 22% YoY.
Logistics segment

Rail volumes: 57,347 TEUs in August (+8% YoY), with YTD volumes at 297,766 TEUs (+14% YoY).

GPWIS (Gangavaram Port West Import Systems) volume: 1.69 MMT in August (+3% YoY); YTD at 9.35 MMT (+3% YoY).
