Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has announced robust operational performance, driven by strong growth in container handling and logistics. The company reported its highest-ever half-yearly port cargo volume, reflecting steady growth across key segments.
In September 2025, APSEZ handled a total port cargo volume of 41.6 million metric tonnes (MMT), marking an 11% year-on-year (YoY) increase, primarily driven by container volumes, which grew 14% YoY.
For the first half of FY26, APSEZ achieved a record 244.2 MMT in port cargo, up 11% YoY, with container handling surging 20% YoY, underscoring the company’s dominance in port logistics.
On the rail logistics front, APSEZ reported 60,640 TEUs in September 2025, a 22% YoY rise, while the GPWIS volume remained steady at 1.63 MMT. For H1 FY26, the company’s logistics rail volume reached an all-time high of 358,406 TEUs, up 15% YoY, and GPWIS volume increased 3% YoY to 10.98 MMT.
