Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), a leader in India’s renewable energy sector, has successfully operationalized an additional 275 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. This project is developed by Adani Green Energy Twenty Five A Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of AGEL.
With the commissioning of this latest solar plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has now surged to an impressive 12,258.1 MW. This milestone reinforces Adani Green Energy’s commitment to accelerating India’s transition towards clean energy and achieving its ambitious net-zero carbon emission targets.
Following necessary regulatory clearances, AGEL made the decision at 10:57 p.m. on February 27, 2025, to commence power generation from February 28, 2025. This marks yet another significant achievement for the company in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects on schedule.
In the meantime, Adani Green Energy shares opened today at ₹795.10, hitting a high of ₹815.00 and a low of ₹785.80. The stock touched its 52-week low of ₹785.80, significantly down from its 52-week high of ₹2,174.10.
