
Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced that it has operationalised a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat through its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited. The company made the decision to commission the plant at 5:47 a.m. on May 14, with operations set to commence from May 15, 2025.
This addition takes AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 14,340.9 MW, strengthening its position as one of the country’s largest clean energy producers.
The operationalisation follows previous disclosures made on March 27 and March 29, 2025, regarding progress on the Khavda solar development.
The company stated that all relevant clearances were obtained prior to the commissioning decision.
