ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has been awarded a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project at a tariff of ₹4.43 per unit. This project is part of a 250 MW FDRE tender floated by Tata Power Company Limited’s distribution arm, Tata Power-D, a licensed electricity distribution company under Tata Power.

The FDRE tender followed tariff-based competitive bidding guidelines and was concluded through an e-reverse auction on August 13, 2025. The project will require ACME Solar to maintain a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor of 40 percent and ensure four hours of peak-hour supply with 90 percent monthly availability. ACME Solar will combine solar energy with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet these supply obligations under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement, with commissioning scheduled within 24 months of signing.

Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy projects like this one are crucial for India’s transition to clean energy, as they provide consistent, reliable power while addressing the intermittency of renewable sources. By integrating storage solutions, such projects support grid stability and round-the-clock electricity supply.

ACME Solar Holdings is a leading integrated renewable energy company in India, with an operational capacity of 2,890 MW spanning solar, wind, hybrid, storage, and FDRE solutions. With a strong in-house EPC and O&M capability, the company ensures timely and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining industry-leading performance metrics.
