ACME Solar Holdings Limited has officially announced the termination of its planned acquisition of AK Renewable Infra Private Limited. The company confirmed that the deal, first disclosed on September 5, 2025, will not move forward after both parties mutually agreed to withdraw from the transaction.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) signed on September 5, 2025, between ACME Solar Holdings, AK Renewable Infra Private Limited, and the existing shareholders of the target company has been terminated in line with the provisions of the agreement. The termination took effect from September 13, 2025.

ACME Solar Holdings stated that the decision was reached after discussions with all stakeholders involved in the deal. No specific reasons for calling off the acquisition were disclosed, but the company emphasized that the termination was executed as per mutually agreed terms.

The cancellation of this acquisition means ACME Solar Holdings will continue focusing on its existing operations and expansion plans independently.
