ACME Solar Holdings Limited, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited for a Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project with a capacity of 680 MW. This significant milestone reaffirms ACME Solar’s commitment to accelerating India’s transition to clean energy solutions.

The project was awarded under NHPC’s FDRE tender for 1,400 MW and will be developed across multiple states, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. The innovative project integrates solar, wind, and battery storage solutions, enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.

The PPA includes a guaranteed minimum annual capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 40% and mandates meeting 90% of the promised value during peak hours. These requirements aim to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to India’s clean energy goals.

ACME Solar’s diversified renewable energy portfolio includes operational projects totaling 2,540 MW and an additional 4,430 MW under construction. The company continues to lead with advanced hybrid renewable energy solutions, setting a benchmark for sustainability in the sector.
