ACME Solar has taken a major step in strengthening its renewable energy portfolio by placing an order for 2 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Chuzhou Lishen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, a leading global energy solutions provider. The deal has been facilitated through POSCO International Corporation, South Korea’s integrated business giant, and China FAW Group Import and Export Co., Ltd, the global trading arm of FAW Group.

According to the company, the order will be supplied in multiple phases over the next six to ten months. Once delivered, the systems will be deployed across ACME Solar’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects as well as standalone BESS projects. These projects are scheduled for commissioning over the next 12 to 18 months, making the initiative a key milestone in ACME’s efforts to deliver round-the-clock green power.
