ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan. The project will supply power at a fixed tariff of ₹3.05 per kWh.
The agreement follows the successful commissioning of the 300 MW capacity on June 23, 2025. The project was awarded under the SECI ISTS XVIII Tranche and the tariff was officially adopted by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on May 30, 2025.
As per the PPA terms, power supply is scheduled to begin on or before June 30, 2025. Since the project’s Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) falls before the government’s June 2025 deadline, it qualifies for Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) charges waiver—an incentive for early commissioning of renewable energy projects.
With this addition, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed capacity has reached 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is already operational. The remaining capacity is under various stages of development. The company also holds a firm pipeline of 1,840 MW for which Letters of Award (LOAs) have been issued.
ACME Solar’s power portfolio is predominantly backed by central government entities, with 86% of capacity tied up under central PPAs and the remaining 14% with state distribution companies.
