A B Infrabuild Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Central Railways, Indian Railways, for a major infrastructure development project under the proposed 5th and 6th line expansion between CSMT and Kurla. The total contract value stands at ₹100.22 crore, with a completion timeline of 18 months.

According to the company’s regulatory filing dated November 7, 2025, the project involves comprehensive construction and redevelopment work, including new platforms, foot overbridges, skywalks, and other key passenger amenities.

The project scope includes:

  • Construction of new island platforms (PF No. 1 & 2) with full roofing and cover.

  • Building of foot overbridges (FOBs), skywalks, escalators, lifts, and overhead booking offices.

  • Dismantling of old structures, including existing FOBs, COPs, minor bridges, and related infrastructure.

  • Development at Sion station, including a new 60x6m FOB at the CSMT end, a 60x12m public FOB at the north side of the proposed Sion ROB, roof-covered platforms, toilet blocks, and dismantling of old booking offices.

The contract, valued at ₹100,22,10,791.21, will be executed within an 18-month period. The company confirmed that the order was received from a domestic entity and that there is no related party involvement in the transaction.
