CNH, a global leader in agriculture and construction equipment, has completed its largest-ever single delivery of sugarcane mechanization equipment in India. The company handed over 117 Case IH sugarcane harvesters and 234 New Holland tractors to the Deshmukh (Manjra) Group from Latur, Maharashtra. The delivery was led by CNH CEO Gerrit Marx during his visit to India.

A pioneer in sugarcane harvesters in India, CNH said the new equipment would address labour shortages, improve efficiency, and ensure timely harvesting.

Mr. Narinder Mittal, President and Managing Director, CNH India, said, “As a leader in this segment, we are proud to partner with the Deshmukh Group to accelerate India’s mechanization journey. The trust our customers place in CNH reflects our commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance solutions designed for their needs. Sugarcane sustains millions of rural families in Maharashtra and across India. By embracing mechanized harvesting, we can transform this lifeline — boosting productivity, ensuring timely harvests, and improving farmer incomes.”

On this occasion, Mr. Dheeraj Vilasrao Deshmukh, Director, Manjra Group, said, “We have been using CNH equipment for over a decade, and the consistent quality, safety, and reliability of their machines have earned our complete trust. Whenever we look at expanding or upgrading our fleet, CNH remains our preferred partner. With this new delivery, we are confident of further strengthening our operations and creating greater value for farmers and the sugarcane sector in Maharashtra.”

The Manjra Group, a leading agribusiness enterprise with 10 sugar mills, already operates more than 45 harvesters and 90 tractors, making it CNH’s largest sugarcane harvester customer in India. CNH said the advanced machines will enhance productivity, reduce crop loss, and create employment opportunities through operator training programs run in partnership with sugar mills.
