Bharat Dynamics is set to expand its manufacturing capabilities with the establishment of two new facilities in , , and , . These facilities are expected to commence production in the financial year 2026-27, aligning with the company’s efforts to enhance capacity and operational efficiency.

The Telangana facility will feature eight assembly lines to accommodate the anticipated requirements of new weapon systems and future demands. It will also include unique test facilities such as a rocket motor testing facility and a warhead penetration testing facility.

In Uttar Pradesh, the facility in the defence corridor at Jhansi will focus on the manufacturing of propellants to meet the organisation’s growing needs. This facility will also engage in the bulk production of grad rockets and in-house research and development of new energetics.

These expansions are designed to support ‘ current order book of approximately ₹26,000 crore, with additional orders of around ₹15,000 crore expected in the financial year 2026-27.
