On Monday, Bajaj Auto Ltd reported a rise of 11 percent in its total vehicle sales in October. They had a total sale of 512,038 units.
Previously in October 2019, the company had managed to sell only 463,208 units, Bajaj Auto stated in a regulatory filing. The domestic sales were 281,160 units and it increased by 1 percent since last October.
Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales grew by 18 percent at 470,290 units, its highest ever sales for the company. In October, Bajaj Auto said the Pulsar brand recorded sales of, over 170,000 units.
The company said, “commercial vehicle sales stood at 41,746 units, as against 64,295 in the corresponding month last year, a decline of 35 percent.”
The export numbers in October were 230,878 units, there was a growth of 25% since October 2019.
