Avante Spaces Limited, a Kirloskar Group company, has been awarded the IGBC Platinum Certification for its flagship commercial development ‘One Avante’ located in Kothrud, Pune. The certification represents the highest level of green building recognition granted by the India Green Building Council (IGBC).
The One Avante project is currently occupied by several Kirloskar Group companies and has been recognised for its sustainable workplace infrastructure, environmentally responsible design and operational efficiency. The certification reflects Avante Spaces’ emphasis on future-ready development practices aligned with global sustainability standards.
The IGBC assessment covered five key parameters — Site Selection and Planning, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Material Conservation, and Indoor Environmental Quality and Occupational Health — along with an additional category for Innovation in Design.
Sustainability considerations have been embedded into the project from the early planning phase through day-to-day operations. The development integrates energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, maximised natural daylight, advanced water conservation technologies and a structured waste management system that encourages recycling and optimal use of resources. These initiatives collectively help reduce environmental impact while enhancing occupant comfort and well-being.
