Ashoka Buildcon has announced the receipt of a provisional certificate for the completion of 52.885 kilometres of its National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project. This certificate marks the commercial operation date (CoD) for an additional 2.68 km stretch, declared on 28 February 2026, as per a letter from the Independent Engineer dated 9 March 2026.

The project, executed by Ashoka Karadi Banwara Road Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ashoka Concessions Limited, involves the four-laning of the Tumkur Shivamogga section in Karnataka. The total project stretch is 53.315 km, revised after de-scoping.

The company had previously received CoD for 41.61 km on 8 September 2023 and 8.595 km on 3 March 2025. With the first CoD, the subsidiary is eligible for annuity payments from NHAI over a 15-year period, payable every six months.
