The Adani Group, one of India’s largest multinational conglomerates, has issued a statement in response to what it describes as “a renewed attempt by the Financial Times and its collaborators to rehash old and baseless allegations.”

The statement comes amid a series of reports in the Financial Times, which the Adani Group claims are part of an “extended campaign to advance vested interests under the guise of public interest.”

In their statement, the Adani Group vehemently denies all allegations, describing them as “false and baseless.” The company also condemns what it perceives as “deliberate, and motivated attempts to destabilise the Adani Group.”

The statement further reads: “We are a law-abiding company which is fully compliant with all rules, regulations and disclosure requirements with full respect for the rule of law.”

The Adani Group has long maintained its commitment to legal compliance and ethical business practices. This latest statement underscores the company’s determination to protect its reputation and standing in the face of what it views as unfounded allegations. As of now, the Financial Times has not responded to the Adani Group’s statement.
