Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has accused Ukraine of orchestrating a terrorist operation in Russia’s Kursk region with the intent to secure international financial and military support. “With a terrorist operation in Russia’s Kursk region, Ukraine wants to ‘profitably show’ the remnants of forces to receive money and weapons,” Medvedev stated, implying that Ukraine aims to portray itself as a victim to garner external assistance.
