President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has acknowledged that missile attacks on Kyiv, the country’s capital have resulted in at least two fatalities. Speaking to the country, Zelenskyy conveyed his shock, calling it “another mass attack against our state.”
Not only did the adversary strike Kyiv, but it also targeted six other regions. President Zelenskyy named Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv as the target cities. Given how extensive the attacks are, there has been an apparent increase in the region’s continuous hostilities.
Information coming out of the capital shows that over ten individuals in Kyiv were injured, and two deaths have been officially reported. Underscoring the seriousness of the situation, President Zelenskyy also voiced worries about possible casualties beneath the remains. Widespread damage to infrastructure, particularly high-voltage wires, is seen in images the president released, adding to worries about both the short- and long-term effects.
