A recent tweet by the Uttarakhand Police trolling Virat Kohli based on his performance during India vs England T20I series has left many fans uncomfortable. Now, due to the criticism by the fans, the police force has deleted the tweet.

While several fans were disappointed and disheartened after the Indian skipper got out without scoring any runs in the first game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the cops decided to take a jibe of the situation and used it as an example to draw people’s attention to rash driving. The tweet left several cricket fans angry with many saying that the post was uncalled for.

“A helmet is not enough! It is necessary to drive in full consciousness. Otherwise, like Kohli, you too can be out on zero,” read the tweet in Hindi, shared by the police handle.

In the first T20 match against England, Kohli got out on a duck as he was caught by Chris Jordan off Adil Rashid in the third over and his dismissal reduced India to 3/2.

While some were impressed by the tweet, others defended the Indian captain and criticized the police force. Many said it was a disgrace to stoop so low and troll a man of such great calibre.
