In the first T20I between India and England on Friday in Ahmedabad, as India was restricted to 124 for 7 in 20 overs, KL Rahul displayed a magnificent effort to save a six.

At the start of the fifth over of the chase by the England team with Axar Patel bowling to Jos Buttler, the ball was tossed up on off which leads to Buttler going down the track and launches it over the bowlers head for what most people thought would go for a six.

However, KL Rahul who was in the long-off boundary leaps and takes the catch but sees himself falling and going over the ropes. He throws the ball back inside the ropes before landing on his back.

This resulted in the two England batsman taking only two runs, while KL Rahul saved the team four runs. While team India was batting, KL Rahul was the first one to get out as he was bowled by Jofra Archer in 1.2 overs.

Forgetting his batting performance, Twitteratis are lauding and praising his fielding and his quick thinking to save runs. Here are some of the Tweets-
