‘Ok Computer’ trailer is here. ‘Ok Computer’, a sci-fi comedy Hotstar specials series created and written by Anand Gandhi, and starring the likes of Radhika Apte(Andhadhun), Vijay Varma (Gully boy), Jackie Shroff (Criminal Justice), and Radhika Dugal (Mirzapur). No, this is not a radiohead album, though it’s sure named after it. This is Ship of Theseus director Anand Gandhi’s next project.
Disney+Hotstar VIP dropped the trailer of their new web series ‘Ok Computer’ today, March 9. Claimed to be India’s first ever sci-fi series. ‘Ok Computer’ stars Radhika Apte, Jackie Shroff, Vijay Varma in lead roles. Directed by Anand Gandhi.
The series envisions a near future where for the first time the Homo Sapiens meet the Robo Sapiens. The six-episode show, directed by Anand Gandhi, Pooja Shetty and Neil Pagedar, features an ensemble cast of Radhika Apte, Jackie Shroff , Vijay Varma.
The director said “Ok Computer” is his first step into uncharted territories of cinema. “Its been my privilege to offer unprecedented stories to Indian audiences- Ok Computer, like my previous work, is a small step in a completely new direction, “he said. The show is touted to be India’s first sci-fi comedy. Its synopsis reads, “In the absence of legal or moral precedents for crimes committed by Artificial Intelligence, who does the justice system frame charges against? Errant technology or its human inventors?”
Disney+Hotstar VIP took to twitter to share the new trailer of ‘Ok Computer’ and captioned it, “Kitna hi control kar loge future ko jab future hi aapko control karne wala hai? Watch the Trailer now: #OkComputer#TheFuturelsAjeeb#BotAccheBotBure(sic).”
