Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is one of the most amazing films of 2011. Yes, it’s officially a decade now that the film was released. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, alongside Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin. ZNMD gave us all a sense of belonging and many ideas for our next vacay plans. It was based on 3 guys who take a trip to Spain for a bachelor party. It was supposedly a male perspective film, and many of the fans wished if it somewhat had a female perspective to it.
All your dreams and wishes have come true as Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar already in talk of the sequel of the movie and Farhan will be directing the female road trip movie which would be of the same title but with a twist, that it is going to be a female road trip film.
A source close to the development of the same told Pinkvilla, “While Farhan acted in ZNMD, this time around, he will be directing this yet-untitled film. It is written by him and Zoya, and though the concept of the road trip, remains the same, the narrative is diametrically different from what they did in the 2011 film. They have locked on the broad idea of this story through the lockdown.”
Also, reportedly, Farhan has approached Alia Bhatt, who has agreed to be a part of the team ZNMD 2. The source revealed, “He has discussed the probable collaboration with Alia, and she is definitely excited to come on board the film. More meetings will take place throughout the year, and everyone is optimistic about this association to work out. Apart from Alia, two more A-list actresses will join the gang, however, they are yet to decide on the names.”
It will be exciting to see female version of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
