In 2020, Yash Raj Films(YRF) approached their 50th year with the Bollywood industry. The Owner Aditya Chopra had a huge plan to celebrate this 50th anniversary. YRF had 5 big surprises aligned to mark their year special. But due to the arrival of pandemic, all the theatres had to shut down as per the Government restrictions. Aditya Chopra too was compelled to postpone the plan for next year.
Now that the Union Government has given permission to open theaters. The permission allows the theaters owners to open with 100% capacity, which has been welcomed by every production house in Industry.
YRF too have welcomed this news and have made some big announcements. The 50th year’s big surprise which was postponed by Aditya Chopra is finally going to happen this year. According to the reports, as a part of 50 years of success YRF is going to release 5 big star cast movies, starting with Pathan. YRF has already begun the shoot of Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
