In a recent Extra Masala clip, Jasmin Bhasin recalls an embarassing moment when the first time she went to watch a movie and her mother decided to send her grandmother with her.
As the clip begins, Jasmin recalls that the first time she went to watch a movie in the theatre with her friends was in 11th grade. Jasmin calls herself, “Bewakoof ladki’. As her modern, high-five friends decided to watch Salaam Namaste as it was released at that time. They all liked a song from the movie. Rubina Dilaik suggested the song name from the film. Jasmin agrees.
Jasmin adds that she had friends from her coaching classes who suggested to watch the movie alone without parents. When she told her mom about the plan her mother adviced her to take her grandmother with her. Abhinav Shukla laughs at her. Jasmin says she was very embarrassed in front of her friends.
Further, she says, “Pehli baar picture dekhne jaa rahi thi, baki saare modern, high-five ladkiya ek dum kush ki picture dekhne jaa rahe apne friends ke saath aur mein yaa apni dadi ke saath picture dekh rahi hu.”
She compliments her grandmother that during the movie she stayed away from her, thus let her enjoy the movie alone.
Later in the clip, Jasmin says,” Meri mummy badi teez thi, jaane nahi deti thi idhar udhar, school ki picnic theek hai kyuki teacher thi udhar, tuition ke liye cousin ke yaha bhej deti hai.” Abhinav rolls out of laughter at her antics.
