Addressing a public rally, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, “When it comes to the TMC, it has become synonymous with terror, mafia, and corruption—‘T’ stands for terror, ‘M’ for mafia rule, and ‘C’ for corruption.” He further alleged that funds sent by the Centre for the development and welfare of weaker sections were being diverted. As per the reports in NDTV and The Indian Express, the BJP has consistently raised issues of governance and financial transparency as part of its election narrative in West Bengal.

Highlights the ‘double-engine government’ model

Adityanath also drew a comparison with Uttar Pradesh before 2017, claiming that the state had witnessed high crime rates and stalled development under previous governments. “There was widespread disorder… but after the formation of the double-engine government, the situation in Uttar Pradesh has completely changed,” he said, presenting it as a model of governance.
