Indian railway sector stocks recorded mixed movement in morning trading on Thursday, April 16, 2026, with select counters advancing while others declined.
Among the gainers, RailTel Corporation of India led with a rise of 2.06% to ₹343.60 on BSE and 1.68% to ₹342.40 on NSE.
IRFC advanced 1.00% to ₹102.78 on BSE and 1.05% to ₹102.79 on NSE.
Container Corporation of India gained 0.39% to ₹491.00 on BSE and 0.47% to ₹491.50 on NSE.
Rail Vikas Nigam rose 0.21% to ₹287.75 on BSE and 0.37% to ₹288.12 on NSE.
BEML advanced 0.13% to ₹1,712.10 on BSE, while it was marginally lower at ₹1,710.50 on NSE, down 0.06%.
RITES was flat at ₹212.85 on BSE and 0.11% higher at ₹213.13 on NSE.
On the downside, Titagarh Railsystems fell 1.12% to ₹709.60 on BSE and 1.05% to ₹710.05 on NSE.
Ircon International declined 0.42% to ₹140.75 on BSE and 0.48% to ₹140.69 on NSE.
Texmaco Rail slipped 0.36% to ₹101.23 on BSE and 0.38% to ₹101.24 on NSE.
IRCTC fell 0.13% to ₹552.65 on BSE and 0.17% to ₹552.60 on NSE.
Benchmark indices traded higher during the session. The Nifty 50 stood at 24,309.70, up 0.32%. The S&P BSE Sensex was at 78,379.34, up 0.34%.
