Brigade Group has announced the signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for an 8.63-acre parcel in Gunjur, East Bengaluru. This strategic move marks a significant milestone, enabling the development of a larger 39-acre integrated residential township in the Whitefield–Sarjapur corridor.
The planned 39-acre development is primarily a large-scale residential township with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately ₹7,200 crore. The land assembly for this expansive township is being executed through a combination of outright purchase and joint development agreements. The execution of the 8.63-acre JDA is a critical step forward in the progression of this master-planned development.
Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited, highlighted the strategic importance of the Whitefield-Sarjapur Road as one of Bengaluru’s most compelling micro markets. The area is recognised for its infrastructure expansion, connectivity, and strong employment catchments. Shankar stated, “The signing of this JDA is an important milestone that strengthens our residential pipeline in East Bengaluru and enables us to move forward with a large, integrated township development. Brigade has a strong track record of delivering well-planned residential communities, and this township will reflect our focus on quality, scale, and long-term liveability.”
The township is set to offer multi-generational residential options, including senior living spaces, supported by thoughtfully planned amenities and convenience infrastructure.
