Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for the supply of cables, according to an exchange filing.
The order, valued at approximately ₹45.47 crore (inclusive of taxes), involves the supply of cables for domestic operations. The contract is scheduled to be executed over a period starting May 2026 through May 2027, the company said.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and pertains to the company’s core cable supply business. Importantly, the company clarified that the contract does not fall under related party transactions and that none of the promoter or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity.
This development reinforces Diamond Power Infra’s presence in the power infrastructure and cable supply segment, particularly in urban electricity distribution projects. Orders from utilities such as Adani Electricity Mumbai are typically linked to network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and maintenance of power distribution systems.
The company continues to focus on strengthening its order book through such contracts, which provide revenue visibility over the execution period.
