Biocon Limited has announced changes to the trustees of its Employees Welfare Trust, effective from 1 April 2026. The modifications were made in accordance with Article 13 of the Trust Deed, resulting in the resignation of two trustees and the appointment of new members.
The outgoing trustees, Mr. Krishnachar Nandakumar and Ms. Maninder Kapoor Puri, will resign from their positions at the close of business hours on 31 March 2026. Following their departure, Mr. Mukesh Karnath and Mr. Naveen Narayanan will join the board as the new trustees, as per Article 11 of the Trust Deed.
The composition of the Board of Trustees will be updated to reflect these changes, with Mr. Mukesh Karnath and Mr. Naveen Narayanan serving as the trustees from 1 April 2026 onwards.
These changes are part of the seventh amendment to the Trust Deed, which was originally dated 18 May 2001 and has undergone several amendments over the years, including those dated 11 July 2014, 20 July 2015, 1 February 2021, 2 August 2021, 31 March 2023, and 9 October 2025.
