Management Commentary on Demand Trends
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the company recorded robust domestic growth of 35% in February 2026.
He attributed the growth to robust rabi sowing activity, healthy reservoir levels, and a favourable kharif harvest, which have strengthened rural cash flows. Positive rural sentiment, along with the festive season of Navratri, is expected to further support tractor demand in the coming period.
In the export market, the company reported 20% growth over last year, driven by steady international demand.
