The Terminal List is one of the best action-thriller platforms available to watch on-demand across OTT services, with a large amount of military intrigue, intense revenge, and high stakes involving the Navy Seals and their pursuit of justice with Reece James. With the first season having been so well received (in 2022), fans have been eagerly anticipating Season 2 to feature enhanced levels of global threat, deeper layers to all characters, larger than life action sequences, and even more hostage adapted from book two, True Believer by Jack Carr, to release in 2025; as a result of the success of season one, Dark Wolf (2025) should be a strong predictor.

The Terminal List Season 2: Release Status

The Terminal List Season 2 will NOT be released in March 2026. The series is confirmed for release in 2026 on Amazon Prime Video, with Chris Pratt’s January 2026 podcast appearance and industry reports indicating it may be pushed back from when filming wrapped in the fall (approx. October) due to post-production still ongoing. As of late January 2026, six of eight episodes have been completed.

Based on the ten-month minimum timeframe to complete post-production for Season 1, most reputable sources estimate a release window for September or October 2026. Although earlier speculation (from mid-2025) pointed to an early 2026 premiere date (as soon as March or April), this is no longer supported by current information on post-production timelines.

There is no definitive premiere date; there was never any indication of a link to March 2026 for the release date. Some older trailers mentioned that it could potentially happen in early 2026, but the current industry estimate is for later in the year.
