Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2: Plot Details
This season features a Regency-era take on Cinderella. Benedict Bridgerton is an artistic and free-spirited second son who has tried to avoid settling down; he meets a mysterious “Lady in Silver” at a masquerade ball, and he falls for her. Unknown to him, she’s actually a housemaid named Sophie Baek, resulting in tension created by class differences and expectations of society.
Part 1 sets up their initial connection and builds up to attraction, including a cliffhanger ending with a complicated “mistress” proposal from Benedict to Sophie. While that part 2 together will tell the whole love story and whether they will find true love against all odds, regardless of risk, scandal, or class separation. There is an expectation of plenty of passion, drama, and Lady Whistledown’s gossipy tales, and of course, the regular drama of the Bridgerton family!
If you haven’t watched Part 1 yet, you’ll want to catch up before Part 2 comes out, as they will be connected with lots of build-up to the finale.
