Agarwal Industrial Corporation Limited has secured a significant contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s bulk bitumen supply chain.
Under the tender, Agarwal Industrial has been awarded the supply of approximately 42,800 metric tonnes of Bulk Bitumen, including VG-30 and VG-40 grades. The supplies will be made to BPCL’s Kakinada and Mangalore locations over a one-year execution period from January 23, 2026 to January 22, 2027, in line with the terms and conditions of the contract.
The firm quantity for Kakinada stands at 32,000 metric tonnes, with an estimated order value of around ₹166.68 crore based on prevailing market prices. For the Mangalore location, the company will supply 10,800 metric tonnes, valued at approximately ₹51.91 crore. The combined estimated value of the BPCL contract is about ₹218.59 crore.
This domestic contract has been awarded on a contractual basis and does not fall under related party transactions. The promoter or promoter group of Agarwal Industrial does not have any interest in BPCL, ensuring that the order has been secured on a purely commercial and arm’s-length basis.
