Content creator Maxtern has spoken at length about his ongoing controversy with Elvish Yadav, opening up during the premiere episode of the reality show The 50. The discussion unfolded during a conversation with Prince Narula, where Maxtern shared personal details about the fallout and its impact on his mental health.

Maxtern revealed that during a period when he was offline, he unexpectedly discovered that Rs 1 lakh had been transferred into his bank account. He said he had no prior information about the transaction and was confused about why the money was sent. According to him, the amount did not hold significance financially, but the intent behind it remained unclear.

He further claimed that during subsequent conversations, there were talks about working together and maintaining brotherhood, which emotionally affected him as he was going through a lonely phase at the time. Maxtern alleged that despite knowing him earlier, false accusations were later spread against him, including claims involving his family, which he strongly denied.

The creator also spoke about a delayed music video project that was shot before the controversy but released later, after which negative memes surfaced online. He suggested that the narrative appeared coordinated, leaving him mentally exhausted and unable to sleep for days.

Maxtern concluded by stating that he eventually returned the Rs 1 lakh—sending Rs 90,000 and Rs 10,000 back via UPI—after being asked to do so, but said he is still unsure why the money was sent in the first place. Prince Narula, reacting to the situation, acknowledged his own past mistakes on social media and stressed the difference between online reactions and real life.

The episode has reignited public debate around influencer conflicts, online narratives, and the mental toll of social media controversies.
