In a condolence message, Shah said he was “deeply saddened by the tragic news” and described Pawar as a senior leader and policymaker who played a significant role in shaping Maharashtra’s development agenda. He noted that Pawar worked tirelessly for the welfare of citizens and that his sudden passing represents a major loss to the state and to those who admired his decades of public service.

The Learjet 45 aircraft crashed during landing at Baramati airport earlier today. Aviation authorities have confirmed that there were no survivors. Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
