Real Madrid youth coach Álvaro Arbeloa has shared an insightful and light-hearted moment from his recent interaction with one of the club’s brightest stars, highlighting the player’s extraordinary dedication and non-stop running ability.
Speaking about Jude Bellingham’s training habits, Arbeloa revealed that he approached the player just 48 hours after a match with a simple request, to slow down. However, the response he received only underlined the footballer’s unmatched intensity and professionalism.
“A few days ago, 48 hours after a game, I went to him (Bellingham) and said: ‘Stop running so much!’,” Arbeloa explained. “He doesn’t stop running, it’s crazy. I am honored to train such a top player.”
The comments have quickly gone viral among fans, with many praising the player’s relentless work rate and commitment on and off the pitch. Since arriving at Real Madrid, the midfielder has become a central figure in the team’s system, admired not only for his technical quality but also for his physical endurance and leadership despite his young age.
Arbeloa’s words reflect a broader sentiment inside the club, where the player is seen as a role model for younger talents coming through the ranks.
