Kings XI Punjab had nothing less than a nightmare in the first half of the tournament. They were at the bottom of the table for most of the time and were struggling to win games. While many asked the question about Chris Gayle’s inclusion, the team remained in despair.
After six games of the terrible run, the universe boss returned for the kings and the whole scenario changed. He played seven games and scored 288 runs and helped KXIP win 5 games in a row. He has always been an entertaining person on the field and this season was no different.

Kings X Punjab’s season ended after a defeat against Chennai Super Kings, the big man’s. Twitter caught some attention. “Plz continue to watch @IPL even though my season has come to an end. Thank you #UniverseBoss,” Gayle tweeted.
Chennai Super Kings were already out of the playoff contention but they also spoiled the chances of both Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals. KL Rahul is the orange cap holder with 500 plus runs in the season.
