Just days before its big premiere, Farah Khan’s forthcoming reality series The 50 is gaining steam as more famous names become apparent. On February 1, 2026, the popular reality format—which is based on the French program Les Cinquante—will premiered on Colors TV at 10:30 PM and broadcast on JioHotstar at 9 PM.

Under the watchful eye of an enigmatic authority figure known as “The Lion,” 50 celebrity contestants compete the strategy-driven tasks, shifting alliances, surprise eliminations, and psychological gameplay in The 50, which is filmed at a massive palace-style setup on Mumbai’s Madh Island. Farah Khan hosts the program, which is produced by Banijay Asia.

Rumoured Names and What’s Fueling the Buzz

Although the producers have not yet confirmed their involvement, a number of celebrities have been connected to The 50. Among them are:

Urfi Javed, Nikki Tamboli, Pratik Sehajpal, Shiv Thakare, Dhanashree Verma, Ankita Lokhande, Vivian Dsena, Jay Bhanushali, Kusha Kapila, Orry, Emiway, Sreesanth, and Shweta Tiwari.

Further fueling rumors are several celebrities, such as Chaahat Pandey and Poonam Pandey, who have been hinted at announcements. Alumni of Bigg Boss continue to dominate conversation, indicating that the show is moving toward a strong reality-TV familiarity with a novel formula.

“The Lion,” an invisible, masked individual in charge of rules, eliminations, and twists, continues to be a major talking topic. Although there has been no formal confirmation, recent ads that show Ajay Devgn responding to rumors have heightened expectation that he would be involved—possibly as The Lion’s voice or symbolic presence.
