WHOOP on Monday announced a global partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, becoming the Official Health and Fitness Wearable Partner and Team Partner of the iconic Formula 1 team starting from the 2026 season.

As part of the partnership, the WHOOP logo will feature on Scuderia Ferrari HP cars and drivers, while WHOOP devices will be used across the Ferrari team to provide real-time insights into health, recovery, sleep, and overall fitness. The collaboration marks a first in Formula 1, where wearable health technology will be integrated across an entire team ecosystem.

A key highlight of the partnership is the close collaboration between Ferrari’s medical team and WHOOP’s Performance Science team, led by Dr. Kristen Holmes. The two teams will work together to enhance physical efficiency, recovery, and long-term wellbeing for drivers and team members, creating a comprehensive human performance and optimization program.

WHOOP Founder and CEO Will Ahmed said the partnership brings together two data-driven organizations focused on operating at the limits of performance. He noted that Ferrari’s legacy of precision and speed aligns naturally with WHOOP’s mission of optimizing human performance through continuous health monitoring.

Dr. Kristen Holmes added that embedding WHOOP across the team will allow Ferrari to access real-world insights into recovery, strain, sleep, and resilience, helping team members adapt faster and manage fatigue under the intense physical and mental demands of Formula 1.

Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer Lorenzo Giorgetti said the collaboration extends Ferrari’s data-driven philosophy beyond the car, combining high-performance engineering with insights into human health to create optimal conditions for performance both on and off the track.

Through this partnership, WHOOP and Scuderia Ferrari HP also aim to collaborate on a research paper, bringing together insights generated from the integration of wearable health data within elite motorsport environments.
