On Saturday evening, Royal Challengers Bangalore played Sunrisers Hyderabad where the latter took the game home easily. Virat Kohli the skipper of RCB seemed disappointed in the batting department as he said “We weren’t brave enough with the bat,” after SRH handed them a 5 wicket defeat.

After the clash, the skipper has also mentioned that the loss has made their last game against Delhi Capitals a must-win for them to be able to qualify for the playoffs with the top two berths.

RCB scored 120 runs in 20 overs after SRH put them to bat first after winning the toss. The orange army was able to chase it downing just 14.1 overs and now are on the fourth spot on the points table.

“It was never enough. We thought 140 might be a good total to sort of getting into the game on that kind of wicket. We weren’t brave enough with the bat throughout the innings and credit to SRH, they used the pitch well and the change of pace” Kohli said.

RCB needs to win the next game against Delhi Capitals to be able to finish in the top two and on the other hand SRH will need to get a sure shot win in their next match to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2020.
