Former Real Madrid academy graduate Sergio Arribas has openly admitted that returning to the Santiago Bernabéu remains a personal dream, underlining his deep emotional connection with the club where his football journey began.

Speaking to Diario AS, Arribas reflected on his formative years at Real Madrid and described the club as the foundation of his career. “It’s a dream. I’ve always been a Madridista. I spent my whole life at Real Madrid; it’s the club that gave me everything and taught me everything,” the midfielder said. “I wish I could go back someday.”

Arribas, who rose through La Fábrica and captained Real Madrid Castilla, was long regarded as one of the most technically gifted players of his generation. Despite making senior appearances under Carlo Ancelotti, consistent first-team opportunities were hard to come by, eventually leading to his departure in search of regular football and development.

Now establishing himself away from the Spanish giants, the youngster has continued to mature both tactically and mentally. His performances have shown flashes of the creativity, intelligence, and composure that once made him a standout prospect in Madrid’s youth ranks.
