Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant order under its Transportation Infrastructure business vertical for Phase-2 of the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road project. The order pertains to the construction of a 22.3-kilometre, six-lane (3+3) access-controlled radial road in the Ranga Reddy district of Telangana, strengthening Hyderabad’s expanding road infrastructure network.
Under the scope of the contract, L&T will undertake the construction of a 3.6-kilometre-long viaduct along with associated works including minor bridges, underpasses, and culverts. The project also covers the development of service roads on both sides of the main carriageway, extensive retention structures, a robust stormwater drainage system, footpaths, cycle tracks, and landscaping. These components are designed to improve traffic efficiency while supporting safe and sustainable urban mobility.
The Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road Phase-2 project is the first of several planned radial corridors that will connect Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road with the upcoming Regional Ring Road. The corridor is expected to play a key role in enhancing regional connectivity and supporting future growth by improving access to major IT hubs, Electronic City, the Young India Skills University, and the proposed Bharat Future City.
L&T has classified the order as a “Significant” project. As per the company’s project classification framework, this indicates a contract value in the range of ₹1,000 crore to ₹2,500 crore, although the exact order value has not been disclosed.
