Saatvik Green Energy Limited has received an additional order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) for the supply and execution of off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems in Maharashtra. The new order is part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana under the PM-KUSUM B scheme, which aims to promote solar-powered irrigation solutions for farmers.
Under this additional contract, Saatvik Green Energy will undertake the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of 1,000 solar water pumps with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP at identified farmers’ sites across various districts of Maharashtra. The scope of work also includes a complete system warranty along with repair, maintenance and remote monitoring services for a period of five years.
The value of the additional order is approximately ₹16.74 crore, excluding GST. With this development, Saatvik Green Energy’s total order from MSEDCL now stands at 1,815 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumps, aggregating to an overall order value of around ₹30.24 crore, exclusive of GST.
As per the terms of the contract, the installation and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic water pumping systems are to be completed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the notice to proceed or work order by the respective circle office. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls under the company’s regular commercial operations. There is no promoter or group company interest involved in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.
