Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam remained in focus on Wednesday, December 24, after the company informed exchanges that it has received a GST demand notice from the Telangana tax authorities.
In a regulatory filing, Rail Vikas Nigam said it received a demand notice in Form DRC-07 from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Begumpet STU-3, Telangana State, Hyderabad, for the financial year 2021–22. The total demand raised is Rs 4.26 lakh, as per the order dated December 23, 2025 .
The company clarified that the notice does not have any material impact on its financial position, operations, or other business activities. RVNL said the order is currently being examined and appropriate action will be taken as required.
