Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Friday announced the Delhi Senior Men’s squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26, with Rishabh Pant named as captain for the tournament.

In an official communication dated December 19, 2025, DDCA confirmed that Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, and Navdeep Saini have all confirmed their availability and will be part of the Delhi squad for the domestic 50-over competition. The Vijay Hazare Trophy is scheduled to begin on December 24, 2025, in Bengaluru.

The squad was finalised during a meeting of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee held on December 19. The committee included selectors Yashpal Singh, K. Bhaskar Pillai, and Manu Nayar, along with chief coach Sarandeep Singh and other DDCA officials.

Pant’s appointment as captain marks a significant boost for Delhi, with the wicketkeeper-batter set to lead a side that includes several experienced and emerging players. The DDCA also stated that Harshit Rana will join the squad once he becomes available, depending on his commitments.

The announced squad will be in action for the first two matches of the tournament, after which changes, if any, will be communicated separately.
